Xenia

Xenia is a chance roadside discovery producing small-to-medium apples with red stripes and an uneven, lobed, flattish shape. Tart-sweet and juicy with firm flesh — a useful apple for lunchboxes, juicing and cider making, with good cooked flavour too. Appears to be fairly black spot resistant. Harvest timing has not been formally confirmed. Available from Koanga Institute.
