Winter Cole

Winter Cole is an excellent late-season pear variety that extends the fresh pear harvest well into winter — a genuinely useful quality for the home orchard where extending the fresh fruit season matters. Keeps well for winter eating. A prolific and consistent cropper on a high-vigour tree with a spreading habit. Requires a pollinator. Winter Cole is one of the few pears that performs reliably into the cooler months. Available from Koanga Institute on Quince BA29 rootstock.
