Wilson's Wonder

Wilson's Wonder is a vigorous, fast-growing NZ grafted walnut variety producing good crops of large, thin-shelled sweet nuts from around 3 years old. One of the earlier-bearing walnut varieties available in NZ. Self-fertile but produces heavier crops when planted alongside Meyric or Shannon. Deciduous. Grows to approximately 10m x 5m at maturity. Hardy and adaptable to most NZ conditions. Available from Kiwiflora Nurseries, Christchurch.
