Wiki Woo (White Sapote)

Wiki Woo is widely regarded as the best White Sapote (Casimiroa edulis) variety available in New Zealand — very sweet with a strong flavour and light yellow, custard-like flesh with green skin. Eat by slicing in half and scooping with a spoon. A subtropical to tropical tree tolerating brief frosts to -5.5°C once established. Young trees require frost protection. Self-fertile. Named by the same breeders as feijoa Wiki Tu. Available from Flying Dragon Nursery NZ.
