Welcome

Welcome is a NZ heritage apple that originated at Te Hana in Northland. Starts out green, turning yellow then developing red skin with red streaks and russet around the stem as it ripens. Good flavour — the complex colour progression is matched by a nuanced, well-balanced taste. A genuine NZ-discovered variety from Northland's fruit-growing heritage. Requires a pollinator. Mid-season.
