Wakefield

Wakefield is a fig variety producing large fruit with dark brown skin and red flesh with a honey-like flavour. Mid-season. Outstanding eating quality — the honey-sweet flesh is particularly prized for fresh eating. All NZ figs are self-fertile — no pollinator required.
