Toro (NH)

Toro is a Northern Highbush variety that fruits in large clusters on a bush similar to Nui. A heavy cropper producing large, medium mid-blue fruit with better flavour than Bluecrop — often considered a strong replacement for Jersey. High chill variety, best suited to all districts south of Waikato. Recommended plant spacing of 1m to maximise production on mineral soils. A reliable and productive variety for cooler NZ home gardens.
