Tony Firman

Tony Firman is a special feijoa variety gifted to Koanga Institute by its namesake — selected from a large field of seedlings grown from White Goose and Golden Goose (both outstanding and patented export cultivars). Tony Firman selected this particular seedling for its very large fruit size, excellent old-fashioned feijoa flavour, ability to crop without irrigation (indicating strong deep roots) and good keeping qualities. Harvest timing has not been formally confirmed. Available from Koanga Institute.
