Tomcot

Tomcot is an exceptional apricot variety producing very large, almost peach-sized fruit with a strong red blush over orange skin and high-quality, intensely flavoured freestone flesh. One of the largest-fruited apricots available in NZ. Requires approximately 600 hours of winter chill, so is better suited to the cooler regions of NZ — South Island and southern North Island. A premium eating apricot. Partially self-fertile. Available at Waimea and Wairere Nurseries.
