Tarocco (Blood Orange)

Tarocco is a blood orange producing medium-sized fruit that is sweet, juicy, thin-skinned, easy to peel and seedless. Noted for having among the highest natural vitamin C content of any orange variety. The distinctive red flesh colour intensifies with cooler night temperatures during ripening. Ripens June–September. Self-fertile. Available from NZ citrus nurseries.
