Tangelo (Seminole)

Seminole Tangelo is a hybrid of grapefruit and tangerine — producing high yields of large, semi-flat, thin-skinned, red-orange fruit that ripens during June and July. A very juicy tangelo with the richness of grapefruit balanced by tangerine sweetness. One of the most productive tangelo varieties. Self-fertile. A warm-climate citrus best suited to frost-free NZ areas. Available from specialist NZ citrus nurseries.
