Tahitian lime produces fruit generally the size of small lemons, with thin skin, juicy and seedless flesh with the characteristic sharp, acidic lime flavour. When fully ripe the fruit turns a light yellow — it is often picked green for culinary use. The most widely grown commercial lime in NZ. Self-fertile.
