Sweet Valentine

Sweet Valentine is a very late season sweet cherry variety, extending the cherry season well into January and February in New Zealand, one of the latest-ripening cherries available. It produces firm, crisp, sweet red cherries with excellent flavour, making it a valuable variety for anyone wanting to extend their harvest window beyond other cherry varieties. Self-fertile, though planting with another late-season variety will improve yields. Requires bird netting as the fruit ripens.
