Sweet Cap™ (Flatto™ )

Sweet Cap™ (Flatto™) was the first flat peach available in New Zealand. A white-fleshed variety that is delicious eaten firm and crunchy or left to soften. Notably has a very small stone, making it easy to eat around. Ripens late January to mid February depending on location. Tree grows to around 4m tall. Best managed with a preventative spray programme for leaf curl and brown rot. Protected by NZ Plant Variety Rights (Maillarflat). Grown exclusively by Waimea Nurseries.
