Sweet Cap™ (Flatto™ )

The first of the flat peaches in New Zealand! Sweet Cap is a superbly flavoured white fleshed variety, scrumptious when eaten while still crunchy, or equally tasty when left to soften. Known to have a very small stone, it is very easy to eat around. The fruit will ripening from late January to mid February depending on location. The tree can grow to around 4m tall, and is recommended to be managed with a preventative spray programme to avoid diseases like leaf curl and brown rot.
