Suwanee

Suwanee is a blueberry variety growing to approximately 1.5m, producing decent yields of medium-sized, dark blue fruit. Known for good heat tolerance — an important characteristic for blueberries in warmer NZ growing areas. Self-fertile but benefits from a companion variety nearby for heavier crops. A reliable, compact blueberry for NZ home gardens in warmer regions where Northern Highbush varieties may struggle. Available from specialist NZ blueberry nurseries.
