Sturmer Pippin

Sturmer Pippin originated in the United Kingdom around 1800. An old fashioned apple with orange blush on green/bronze skin. It's medium sized fruit are with acidic, aromatic, sweet and juicy. A versatile apple it makes excellent cider and is great cooked, juiced or eaten fresh (sweeter when tree ripened). The fruit is very high in Vitamin C. Compact tree with low vigour meaning it needs little pruning.

It is a good long keeper and will store well until Spring in your fridge.
