Strawberry Sundae

Strawberry Sundae is a summer-season strawberry producing large, oval-shaped, red fruit with firm red flesh and excellent flavour. Best suited to warmer NZ growing areas — it performs best where summers are reliably warm and sunny rather than cool and overcast. A vigorous, productive plant. The large, firm fruit is ideal for fresh eating, desserts and jam. Self-fertile. Plant in full sun with rich, well-drained soil. Harvest October through January in suitable conditions. Produces runners for ongoing propagation. Available from NZ specialist strawberry nurseries.
