Stanley (Prune)

A showstopping, late season plum that has become the standard for which all plums are measured by. Easy to grow, beautiful to at, and a prolific and consistent producer, it is a popular variety for the home orchard or edible landscape. With fragrant white blossoms in spring, by autumn the tree produces copious amounts of dark blue fruit hanging in clusters; like little pretty decorative ornaments. Suited to being a specimen tree it suits a vase shape and pleasant upward sweeping shape.
The fruit is sweet, with complex flavourful juicy yellow flesh; and dries the into the perfect winter snack. Self-fertile and useful pollinator.
