Royal Wilding

Royal Wilding is a heritage apple variety producing medium-sized fruit with a distinctive bitter-sweet flavour, valued for both all-purpose use and cider production. An early-season variety. The 'Wilding' name suggests it may have originated as a wild seedling selection — a category of NZ heritage apples with long local history. Requires a pollinator. Available at Wairere Nursery.
