Red Gravenstein

Red Gravenstein is a triploid, heritage variety of apple. An early season apple that ripens in summer. The fruit are striped and are medium to large in size. The flesh is juicy and crisp 'zingy' flavour, eat fresh or use for cooking. Originating in the USA around 1908.
