Red Doris is a popular NZ plum variety producing medium to large fruit with bright red skin and sweet, juicy yellow-red flesh. A reliable heavy cropper with excellent flavour, widely grown in home gardens. Good for fresh eating and makes excellent jam and preserves. Self-fertile. Mid-season. Available at Wairere Nursery.
