Rainier is a classic June-bearing strawberry variety producing reliably flavoursome, sweet and juicy bright red berries. A popular variety for home gardens, Rainier strawberry is valued for its excellent eating quality and performs well in NZ conditions. Best used fresh or for jam and preserving. Plant in full sun in well-drained, fertile soil.
