Priscilla

Priscilla is a mid-season apple producing sweet, firm, red-blushed fruit of medium size with a rich, full flavour. Has a tendency to produce small fruit if blossoms are not thinned adequately — thinning to one fruit per cluster gives better sized, premium quality apples. A rewarding variety when managed correctly. Requires a pollinator. Mid-season. Grows to 4–5m. A disease-resistant variety, being scab-resistant. Available at Wairere Nursery.
