Persimmon Fuyu

Fuyu is the most common commercially grown variety and is very popular. Fruit is glossy, deep coloured and medium to large in size. Flavour is full, sweet, non-astringent. Although the tree has high vigour, it can be known to drop branches in old age. Fruit ripens May-June.
NOTE: Availability of persimmon trees is very limited. You may need to order with your local retailer to get trees, although in recent years there has been more availability.
