Peasgood Nonsuch

Peasgood Nonsuch is a heritage English apple originating around 1853 — a dual-purpose variety producing large, handsome, regular-shaped fruit that is juicy for fresh eating and cooks sweet and delicately, producing beautifully flavoured purée, baking and salads. The name 'Nonsuch' (meaning peerless) reflects its historic reputation. Ripens late summer. Partially self-fertile. An impressive, old-fashioned apple with genuine character. Available at Wairere Nursery.
