Pax (Gooseberry)

Pax is a well shaped, slightly bristly Gooseberry that is dark reddy-purple when fully ripe. Berries are larger than Invicta. A good eating gooseberry. Although it is very vigorous and spreading it can easily be pruned to shape. Produces occasional spines on young wood, but at maturity it is virtually spineless.
