Parent Navel

Parent Navel produces very sweet, large navel oranges. As a navel variety it is somewhat more tolerant of cooler temperatures than some other orange varieties, making it marginally more adaptable to a wider range of NZ growing conditions — though all oranges still require a frost-free position. Self-fertile. A sweetly flavoured, substantial navel orange. Mid-season. Available from NZ citrus nurseries and specialist citrus growers.
