Paragon

Paragon was once the most widely grown commercial and home garden peach in NZ — a yellow-fleshed, mid-season variety with sweet, juicy flesh that built its reputation over many decades in NZ orchards. Firm freestone fruit of good size. While newer commercial varieties have largely replaced it commercially, Paragon retains a loyal following among home gardeners who value its reliable performance and familiar flavour. Self-fertile. Available from specialist NZ nurseries.
