Ohinemuri

This tart, yellow apple was named after Ohinemuri (Te Puke New Zealand), where it apple originated. It was gifted to the Koanga Institute for preservation, by Jim Cox Tangiteroria, in 1989.
It is known for producing a large harvest. A good fresh eating apple, it can also be used for juicing, drying and cooking.
