Northern Spy

Northern Spy produces large and handsome heritage apples, with yellow skin that is heavily tinged with red. The fruit has wonderful flavour with creamy yellow flesh that is crisp and juicy. Great for cooking as well as fresh eating. Stores well and once established requires very little attention. A reliably good apple. Northern Spy is often also used as rootstock for other varieties.
