Nonnetit Bastard

Nonnetit Bastard is a heritage, all-purpose variety that originated in Denmark around 1913. This rare and unusual apple has broken pinkish red stripes on a background of pale milky green to white, and displays a distinctive long oval or teat-like shape. It has excellent cooked flavour and is crisp and sweet when ripe. A good keeper, it stores well.
