Nelmak (Macadamia)

The Nelmak Macadamia is sometimes reffered to as the 'Queensland nut'. It is a reliable producer of delicious, creamy textured small nuts. An attractive tree with glossy foliage and beautiful pink flowers in summer. Loves a sunny spot, good drainage and fertile soil, and must be protected from frost. It is evergreen and suits very mild - subtropical climates.

To ensure good cross pollination it is recommended another Macadamia variety is also planted nearby.
Important: Macadamias are toxic to dogs so not ideal for those with dogs.
