Nectar Babe (Dwarf)

Nectar Babe is a dwarf nectarine variety with low chilling requirements — making it one of the better nectarine options for warmer NZ growing areas. Sweet, yellow, juicy freestone flesh with deep pink, ornamental blossom. Low chill requirement makes it suitable for the upper North Island. Best planted with Honey Babe or another nectarine or peach variety to aid pollination. Thrives in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Ideal for small gardens and containers. Self-fertile.
