Muscat Hamburg

Muscat Hamburg is a classic European table and wine grape variety producing good crops of medium-sized blue-black grapes with an intensely rich, aromatic and musky flavour. One of the oldest Muscat varieties, it has been grown in European gardens since the 19th century. A moderate-vigour vine that performs well in warm, sheltered NZ positions, Muscat Hamburg is excellent for fresh eating, juice and wine making. The distinctive musky sweetness sets it apart from more neutral grape varieties.
