Moro is the most intensely pigmented of the blood orange varieties — deep ruby-red skin, stunning crimson flesh, and a complex flavour with hints of berry and citrus. The colour intensifies in cooler conditions. A premium culinary orange valued for juicing, salads and cocktails. Mid to late season. Self-fertile. Available from NZ citrus nurseries.
