Moraiolo

Moraiolo is a Tuscan olive variety that ripens early and produces heavy yields of small fruit. When fully mature they are purple-black in colour, but can be picked from a purplish-green colour. Fairly low vigour with a spreading branch habit. Low chill requirement, and more tolerant of wind and coastal conditions than many other varieties. Salt resistant. Grows to approximately 4m×3m.
