Monterey

Monterey is a day-neutral (everbearing) strawberry producing large, sweet, juicy berries from October through to March — an exceptionally long harvest season. High disease resistance, popular with organic growers. One of the most widely available strawberry varieties in NZ, sold under different names: Sweet As (Mitre 10), Sweetie (The Warehouse), Monterey (Bunnings). Self-fertile. Available at Incredible Edibles, Mitre 10, Palmers and garden centres nationwide.
