Miagawa (Satsuma)

Miagawa is a Satsuma mandarin — one of the most cold-tolerant of all mandarin varieties. Produces large, seedless, juicy fruit with a thin, smooth, easy-peel skin. Frost tolerant once established, making it one of the better citrus options for cooler NZ regions. Self-fertile. Mild, sweet Satsuma flavour. Early to mid-season ripening — one of the earlier mandarins. The large fruit size is a standout characteristic. Available at Flying Dragon Nursery NZ and specialist NZ citrus nurseries.
