McNichols Choice

McNichols Choice is an NZ hybrid berry variety producing medium to large, dark red berries with good flavour on a mostly spineless, trailing vine. A high-yielding selection — one of the more productive of the NZ hybrid berries. Like all the NZ hybrid berries, McNichols Choice benefits from a warm, sunny position and training on wires. Excellent fresh, for jam and desserts. Self-fertile. Harvest December to January. Available at specialist NZ berry nurseries.
