McIntyre

McIntyre is a NZ plum variety producing large, dark reddish-purple, conic fruit with purple-red sweet, juicy flesh — a freestone variety well suited to fresh eating and bottling. The tree is vigorous and healthy but is shy-cropping without the right pollinator. When well-pollinated it bears heavily and the fruit hangs well on the tree for an extended harvest period. Pollinators include Santa Rosa, Burbank and Redheart. A reliable and worthwhile variety when planted with a suitable companion.
