Maycrest

Maycrest is a peach variety producing medium-sized fruit with bright red skin over yellow and firm, yellow flesh with a delicious, juicy flavour. One of the earlier-ripening yellow-fleshed peaches — a useful variety for extending the peach season from the start of summer. The attractive colouring makes it visually appealing as well as flavoursome. Self-fertile. Harvest November to December. Available at specialist NZ stone fruit nurseries.
