A must-have feijoa in many NZ gardens — frost hardy and partially self-fertile, so it will produce some fruit alone. However it will produce better crops when planted with another feijoa variety nearby for cross-pollination. Smooth-skinned fruit with a mild flavour. Fairly vigorous, eventually forming a large evergreen shrub. Feijoas are ready for eating when they start dropping to the ground. Don't let them dry out when the fruit is developing.
