Manawatu

Manawatu is a medium to large feijoa variety with excellent, well-regarded flavour. A reliable and productive variety for NZ home gardens, Manawatu performs best in full sun with good drainage. It requires cross-pollination with another feijoa variety to produce its best large fruit, and planting alongside a compatible variety such as Unique, Mammoth or Apollo will significantly improve both fruit size and crop volume.
