Luisa produces distinctive large yellow-skinned, yellow-fleshed plums with a dimple in the cheek. The fruit is unusually elongated in a non-regular heart shape. Known for its heavy, precocious and regular cropping, producing amazingly sweet and juicy fruit. Self-fertile, although Billington can improve fruit set. Almost freestone. An extremely popular home garden orchard variety.
