Lobo

Lobo is a heritage Canadian apple developed in 1923 by Dominion Horticulturist William Macoun at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa — an open-pollinated McIntosh seedling that is generally considered to be a better all-round apple than its McIntosh parent. Produces large, yellowish-green fruit with an attractive raspberry-red blush and white, tender, juicy flesh with a pleasantly sweet-tart flavour and faint aromatic quality. Fruit stores for up to three months. Requires a pollinator.
