Lisbon

The Lisbon Lemon comes to us from Australia, where it was grown from Portuguese seed — hence the name Lisbon. A great one for the citrus enthusiast: wonderfully juicy, fragrant fruit with a thick skin. Known to be very productive and vigorous with good cold tolerance, though it prefers a warm, sheltered, sunny spot. When mature it may produce fruit all year round. Self-fertile. Available from NZ citrus nurseries.
