Kusale

Kusale is a year-round cropping lime variety with its main crop concentrated in summer. The fruit is small, very acidic and astringent with a sharp lime flavour, best used as a culinary ingredient rather than eaten fresh. A moderately cold-resistant lime variety that performs better in cooler regions than most other limes, making it a practical choice for NZ home gardens outside of the far north. Self-fertile and a reliable cropper.
