Kordia

Kordia is a mid-season sweet cherry variety ripening around mid-January. The cherries are firm with distinctive dark-coloured flesh — one of the darkest-fleshed cherries available. A premium eating cherry with excellent flavour. Originally from Czech Republic, Kordia is a reliable and popular variety for NZ home gardens and small orchards. Requires a pollinator such as Lapins or Stella. A high-quality, premium cherry. Available at Wairere and specialist NZ cherry nurseries.
