Kentish Fillbasket
Kentish Fillbasket originated in the United Kingdom, sometime before 1820. It is a Triploid variety that is considered best as a cooking apple and makes delicious Apple sauce, although fine as an eating apple too with tart/sweet balanced flavour. The large sized fruit is pale green and streaked with red. Kentish Fillbasket is a vigorous disease resistant variety. It is also considered a good apple for Cider.
